With the comprehensive education motto to help children improve intellectual competence as well as practice themselves sport skills and physical health, Lucita International Preschool organized the event “Sports Day 2018” in school campus on 20th July 2018. The event attracted the attention of parents and Lucita children as well. The event started with circle time of all students, they held hands together to sing familiar songs at school like: Let’s form a ring, Good morning song, Throw the bean bags … Rosy’s incredibly energetic martial performance is a fascinating start of the event. Our little kids have practiced performance for long. Although it’s the first time they performed in front of a crowd, they were all confident and demonstrated with movements under teacher’s guideline. The most important part of the “Sports Day” event is competition of little athletes. The children were divided into teams and took turn to participate in the competition. The rainy weather didn’t lower the excitement of the event. This year, the older class will compete in the following disciplines: Throw balls, pass the obstacle objects, tug of war, bag jumping … Our little children put all their efforts in the game of continuous movement: balancing, robbing flags … All teams in the competition got cheers of encouragement from Lucita fans. At the end of the event, each child received a medal with the memorable picture as a stimulus for the “work hard play hard” spirit. It can be said that the success of the “Sports Day 2018” in the school year 2017 – 2018 of Lucita is a foundation for physical education movement to develop strongly. It is also a great encouragement for school to continue to organize next sport events which promote the physical education movement as well as improve the physical strength and stature of children.
