Being an indispensable activity of Lucita in each term, Parents’ Evening is an opportunity to connect and share information of education and care between school and Parents. Our last Parents’ Evening was successfully organized on the 8th, September, 2018 with the a lot of parents, staffs as well as the Board of Management of Lucita International School. Waldorf Education (also known as Steiner Education) is a humanitarian approach, based on the educational philosophy of the Austrian philosopher Rudolf Steiner who was born in early twentieth-century Germany. This is one of the most popular educational methods in the world, to help children adapt with their environment and develop their creativity ability, imagination, integration into nature and a sustainable body. This method goes against the modern direction of not allowing for children to expose with the electronic devices completely under 7 years old. What the children receive will be very real things from the outside world. Our kids will grow in love with the feeling of safety as in the mother’s belly. They live up to their own pace of development, not rush and push. The approach that promotes the development of teachers and adults is equivalent to the development of a child. It is a wonderful thing that we can find the connection, the similarity between the method of education from Waldorf Steiner and ancient Vietnamese wisdom. With a lot of Waldorf / Steiner educational content as well as information about Sunshine Club – a club for parents as well as school staff to improve understanding of how to approach The Parents’ Evening recently gave all parents a lot of fun experiences and emotions. End of the program is a moment of fun conversation between the teachers and parents of students at the warm tea at School, Lucita would like to thank the precious presence of parents and hope will continue to accompany you at the upcoming events.
